I am a Socials lead for Gonka, a decentralized protocol for AI compute, and a research analyst and founding member at DeAI Nation, a nonprofit studying the decentralized AI ecosystem. My work includes the State of DeAI 2026 report, research on decentralized AI companies, networks, and protocols, and practical analysis of hardware participation in distributed compute markets.
Before moving into research, I spent 15 years in journalism and media, working across technology reporting, editorial leadership, product development, and newsroom AI. I am also a co-founder of It Makes Sense, where we are building an agentic system that helps people keep ownership of their personal context and use it to shape their public presence.
I work with teams that need a clear view of decentralized AI: analyzing projects and networks, collecting and interpreting ecosystem data, and developing research that is useful to technical and non-technical audiences. I can also interview project representatives or host podcast conversations that bring the people building this space into focus.
I advise newsrooms on practical AI use: choosing and introducing tools, building bounded agents for research and production workflows, and defining the rules around them. In the past, I’ve organized a series of lectures and workshops for journalists on the use of AI in media.
